Our baby at 31 weeks!

We were anxious to know whats happening since its been 4 weeks after my last follow-up with Dr Guna (DSH). So, we decided to see a doctor here in JB since we did not go back to KL for the weekend.

Not a very happy visit to the doc as their service was way below our expectations.

When I walked in to give an appointment, the nurse told me that they do not take in appointments, but we'll have to walk-in as early as possible to take the 'Q' number. I was very well disappointed, but had no choice and had to take the Q number at 4pm. The nurse requested to come in at 8pm to see the doc.

It was 7.45 p.m. and we took a drive to the clinic. Weight and pressure checked by the non-english speaking nurse (cina apek habis!!). the next thg she asked us, if we had gone to GH (General Hospital) for a urine test! FOR GOD SAKE, I AM 7 MONTHS PREGNANT NOW!!! and why GH of all places?? this wasn't my 1st visit there, and yet she can afford to ask me such a question after seeing my record?? haiz.... 

So yea, it was our turn to see the doc, walked into the consultation room, saw the doc... not so welcoming! he looked more like a strict school teacher than a friendly doctor. 

I gained 4kg plus in the last 4 weeks and he told me that its slightly over weight (alarrrrming!!!!).  after a few questions like if i am hvg any issues sort of stuffs, he asked me again,

Dr: So, u got anything u wanna ask me? anything that u want to know? 

I:  no

Dr: OK, so now lets see hows ur baby... 

(that's the part I was waiting for, but not with a doc like this!)

Dr: OK... this is ur baby's head, face, hands, buttocks... so, its a boy, this is the testicles and his 'kuku bird'. baby is well positioned, nothg to worry... ur baby too is slightly over weight (now, is that smthg that i m not suppose to be worried abt?) I think its fine cse u r tall n the baby is slightly longer than its usual measurement at this stage.

We r so not going back to this doctor again!!!!

The doc printed out my baby's face... awwwww...... n he looked so darn adorable even in that!

Our angel has got high cheek bones and a cute little chin!

Man.... can't wait till March!!!!

Holiday! holiday! holiday!!!!

Welcoming 2011 with a Wide SMILE!!!

Although yr 2010 had a rough start... it ended very well for us! We did not expect the drastic changes in our lives within just 6 months.

Bad things that got us devastated in the 1st half of 2010:
- Handling our marital problems (was the worst ever in our lives)
- Having to lose my recruitement executive job!
- Having a pay cut in his Company (includes work force reduction & issues with his new boss)
- Financial problems
- Job Hunting (started looking for a better offer)
- etc

Good things that got us up & moving in the 2nd half of 2010:
- A success in our job hunting! (he got head hunted!)
- An offer from Singapore
- Promotion from being Husband and wife to becoming a Parent ( I got pregnant!!)
- Moving into a new place (JB that is!)
- A successful and stable job (kept him happy)
- Blood tests showed good results, baby was n still growing healthy =)
- A whole new lifestyle
- Financially got stable
- A new iPad!
- A new Canon EOS 550D
- Family got together
- etc....

So, its more like a happy ending as for 2010!!!

2011, we welcomed it with a wide smile on our faces!!! Not to deny that its gonna be a busy, hectic but an exciting year full of changes in both our lives.

We are still adopting to the changes we will have to handle. Busy preparing ourselves to accept a new family member... =)

We have no idea on what type of changes 2011 is holding for us.... for whatever it could be, we would be ready to handle it in the best way possible!! *hopefully*

29 weeks and counting...

Its now the 2nd trimester of my pregnancy. Life isn't all that bad, thgs are looking quite stable!
Love the life, loving the little one's kicking n movements...
Daddy is doing his job well in taking care of mommy =)... and baby refuses to move when daddy is around and wanting to feel him... =(

Tummy is now more visible and love the attention given by family!!
Gained 6kgs till to date since i got pregnant, and that is freaking me off!!

In less than 12 weeks time, the baby is gonna arrive!!!  The question is.... r both mommy n daddy ready for this moment?? we both are already freaking out!!!

CHECK: to-do list, to buy list, invitation n planning of the full moon celebration, etc.

In the midst of all these, mommy n daddy can still stay cool n welcome the new year with all the glow on our faces!!

 Good Bye 2010.... Welcome 2011!!!!

We are now orang Singapore in JB!

Its been a month and a week now since we have moved to JB!
We dearly miss our beautiful home at Casa Indah, Tropicana... haih......
Yeah, so it's JB now... the house is beautiful but we got a completely empty unit, meaning... we do not have the built in kitchen cabinet, no stove and no hood. How unfortunate!! As days passes, we keep finding all sorts of error to complain abt the hse! We were left with no choice but to take this house.
The unpacking is still not finished... but the house is looking well arranged!
With a baby arriving in less than 6 months, we r still trying to plan things to keep our bundle of joy in the most comfortable way!
But still...... NOTHING IS LIKE BEING IN KL!!!

A whole bundle of joy is on its way!
YES!!!! March 16 is the date given to have our very own princess/prince!

A beautiful holiday in the month of June... so much happiness, so much laughter and excitement!
4days 3nights it was, a memorable holiday indeed...

OH YES!!!! I'm Pregnant!!!!!! 

Its a blessing that we are now expecting a child after 2 years of marriage! Love every moments that we share now with a baby on its way... 

It's been 10 weeks now since I'm pregnant, thanks to the lord for making it easier for me to handle it so far. =)

CAN'T WAIT FOR MARCH!!!!

Camping trip (30th Jan 2010)

It took us months to pick a new hobby that both of us would enjoy..

1 week prior to our Love Anniversary, we were having a discussion as to how the celebration is gonna be. It was at that time, he suggested to go on a camping trip with some grilling and a few bottles of wine. it sounded so exciting and I agreed to it. 

We came out with the checklist, he went browsing through the net to find the best tent and a portable not-so-messy BBQ pit only to know that even those things aren't cheap. we had to pay a fortune for the BBQ pit, the Coleman icebox, the bed and the tent.
Headed to PD arnd noon... grabbed few bottles of wine and Vodka on our way to the first ever camping experience...
It was a great experience indeed!!
