Our Little PRINCE is 1!!!!

Its our little angel's birthday! he has just turned 1!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHELLA BOY!!

Birthday boy is asleep. mommy wished him, kissed him and hugged him repeatedly though he's asleep... hahahaha!
we still can't believe that he's a big boy now.... 1 whole year passed off just like that!
As they say, babies grow up even before we realize it.... is so true!

Dishanth is no longer a baby.... he is a toddler now! =)
he is heading to the temple first thing in the morning n then off to Singapore to celebrate his birthday with us. We feel blessed and overwhelmed for everything we have in our life today and especially this little munchkin! =)

THE RACE IS ON!!! 

Dishanth is going to be ONE in Less Than 2 Weeks Time!!!

Our little baby boy has grown so much! He is turning One on the 19th of March. 

Proud daddy and mommy along with aunt Jo are anxiously planning for his first ever birthday party!!!

The theme is set, Disney's CARS it is!! 

The order is placed for his cake!

The place will be finalized within the next one week... 

OH MY!!! this is gonna be fun!!!

time has passed super fast! he is no longer a 'newborn'!
all his laughter, drools, baby talks.... hmmmm..... it just melts the both of us!
He is truly an angel sent from up above...
Thank you GOD for trusting in us and sending him over. We will look after this little angel in the best way we could!

As to u our baby boy.... u're the purpose, inspiration and the meaning of papa & mommy's life! You're the best thing that has ever happened in our lives and the most precious gift to us as u will always be! Love u darling....

Our Labor Story (17/03/2011)

The day has arrived! 

My mind was full of questions and worries. Bags were packed; dharma was back, dad, mom n everyone else was there with me…

At that time I realized, such wonderful neighbors I have! They were all giving me words of courage to have a safe labor.

Left to the hospital at 8.30 pm after a small prayer… it sounds very Indian, but yes we do believe in god!

Checked-in at the hospital, the midwives were checking on me and the baby, inside the treatment room. I had to leave everything with Dharma to take care, ended up getting a VIP room!

The day I knew it for sure, I married a man who wants to provide the best for me and money wasn’t his main concern… he just wants me to be comfortable and most importantly, relaxed!

As mom and dad left, Dharma and I started talking about how it all started and look where life has brought us today! Hmmm…. All those happy moments, and we’re about to experience another in the next 24 hours (that’s what we thought at that time)!

One of the midwives came in and told us that they are gonna insert a tablet at 6 a.m. to dilate and stimulate contraction. As scary as it sounded, I told myself I am all out ready for this!

We went to bed at about 12, but I didn’t get to sleep peacefully with those nurses coming in to monitor the heartbeat and contraction every 2 hours and left it there for abt half an hour!

Our Labor Story (14/03/2011)

In the month of March 2011, the most awaited moment was about to come!

Both of us were much excited, equally tensed and pressured… We heard everyone saying, ‘its normal to feel like that, and it’ll all end before you guys even realize it…’. True that…

Everything happened so fast! And before we knew it, the ‘BIG’ guy was out, putting a smile on everyone’s face!

Mom and I went for my usual antenatal check-up.

After the scan was done, Dr Guna told us that the baby is doing very fine, but… he happen to be bigger than expected and still growing. He also told us that we should make a decision the soonest to avoid a C-sec birth.

As discussed before, we decided to go for an induced labor. So, he advised us to get myself admitted on March 17^th, induce on 18^th and deliver the same day.

With much anxiety we went home…

Mom started to call everyone informing them that I am gonna be admitted soon and the baby is arriving on 18^th! :)

As excited as she was, she was equally worried…. Mothers, what more can we say how much they love their kids!

As a pregnant woman, I always wanted him to be next to me… and at this point of time, I was super nervous and the fear of going into a c-sec was my main concern!

I had everyone with me, telling me that everythg is gonna be alright! It’s easier said than done… :(

With his busy work schedule, he had to apply leave for a couple of days and manage to get it approved. Thanks to his wonderful boss Chris!

seriously??? 4 months have passed??? that's fast!!

I know its been months since i've put up any updates...
Things has been really busy and occupied these days. Before we even realized it, its July! Its almost 4 months since the lil one arrived on planet earth... really??? that fast??? Hard to believe, but hell yeah!!
